This Privacy Policy describes how TradeRaft handles your information across our promotional landing page (the "Website") and our frontend trading interface (the "App"), collectively referred to as the "Services".

TradeRaft is committed to transparency and user privacy. Because our App operates without a centralized backend server, our data collection practices for trading are focused entirely on the client-side. The only personal data we collect is what you voluntarily provide on our Website.

1. Information We Collect

Our data collection practices depend on which part of our Services you are using:

On the Website (Landing Page):

  • Email Addresses: If you voluntarily enter your email address (e.g., to join a waitlist, receive updates, or request early access), we collect and store this information solely to communicate with you. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third-party marketers.

On the Web Application (The App):

  • No Accounts: You do not need to create an account with us to use the App.

  • No Database: We do not maintain a backend database to store your name, email address, or contact details.

  • Minimal, Anonymous Analytics: We do not use invasive marketing trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party cookies. We do use privacy-friendly web analytics (Vercel Analytics) strictly to monitor website traffic and performance. This data is fully anonymized and cannot be tied back to your wallet or personal identity.

2. API Key Security and Storage

TradeRaft connects to the Hyperliquid protocol via user-provided API Keys rather than direct wallet connection.

  • Local Encryption: When you enter your Hyperliquid API keys, they are encrypted locally on your device.

  • Persistence: Your encrypted keys and user preferences are stored within your browser's secure local storage. This allows your settings to persist across sessions for your convenience.

  • No Transmission to Us: These keys are never transmitted to, or stored on, any server owned or controlled by TradeRaft. They are used exclusively by your browser to sign and authenticate requests sent to the Hyperliquid API.

3. Interaction with Third-Party APIs (Hyperliquid)

TradeRaft functions as a "pass-through" interface to the Hyperliquid API.

  • When you execute trades, check balances, or view order books, the App sends authenticated requests directly from your browser to api.hyperliquid.xyz (or associated endpoints).

  • Your interaction with these endpoints is governed by Hyperliquid’s own privacy practices. We do not intercept or store the data returned by these APIs.

4. Cloud Infrastructure and Third-Party Services

Our Services rely on secure, third-party infrastructure to operate:

  • Hosting & Analytics (Vercel): Our Website and App are hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically collects basic infrastructure logs (like IP addresses and user-agent strings) for security and server health. We also use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized, cookie-less data about page views and overall site performance.
  • Form Processing (Web3Forms): When you submit a contact form or join our waitlist, the data is processed securely by Web3Forms. They act solely as a router to deliver your message directly to our email inbox and do not use your data for their own marketing purposes.

5. Local Storage for Functionality

In addition to your encrypted API keys, we use local browser storage for strictly necessary app functionality, such as:

  • Saving your UI preferences.

  • Temporarily caching market data to improve performance.

  • Remembering your active trading pairs.

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our infrastructure.

6. On-Chain Data

Please be aware that all trading activity performed via the Hyperliquid API is recorded on a public blockchain. This data is public by nature and is not controlled by TradeRaft.

7. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App’s functionality. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
